How can I be so sure? The rules are being modified to create closer racing, so that means the spoils will be spread around. Too many commentators prefer statistics and records to reasoned analysis, so the figures will be trotted out ad nauseum.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fangio won 47% of the World Championship races he started. Michael Schumacher sits around the 40% mark. That puts things into perspective, doesn\u2019t it? Unfortunately, not because Fangio was a Grand Prix driver and, winner, before there was a World Championship and so he walked into the top team, whereas Schumacher learned his craft with Benetton, a developing team.
