\"\"<\/a>For almost 60 years, the Lotus name has been synonymous with racing and high-performance sports cars. Over the course of that time, the Lotus Car Company has produced over 120 distinct models and has won countless racing championships in everything from Formula One to Formula Ford.<\/p>\n

In this third iteration of The Lotus Book William Taylor identifies and chronicles every Lotus variant from the first Mk 1 trials car built by Colin Chapman in 1948 to the most recent 2004 Elise\u2014and even covers the Goodwood soapbox derby cars for good measure! Having been out of print for several years, this third edition benefits from the addition of 60 pages, providing more coverage of the early specials and models, as well as the cars built since 1998. Each model receives two to four color pages of coverage that include studio photography, period photography, technical specifications and history. Without doubt, this is the most comprehensive book on the marque to date and is surely a must-have for any Lotus owner or fan.<\/p>\n
