Several years ago we brought you this fantastic site devoted to photographs of \u201950s and \u201960s sports car racing, predominantly on the West Coast. Because of the open format where the owner encourages people to contribute old photographs and commentary, this Web site has now become an even better resource for the history of rare sports cars.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In addition to photos of the big names like Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham, Ken Miles and the like, the site also features photos of drivers like Harry Heuer, Max Balchowsky, Bill Krause and many lesser-known drivers. Of particular interest this month is this site\u2019s broad selection of photographs of rare American Specials like the Pink Elephant, the FUBAR, Twareg Special and many others.<\/p>\n

Other features include a series of period movies that can be viewed in QuickTime, as well as several sections devoted to people\u2019s postings of \u201cMystery Cars\u201d that they are seeking identification or more information on.
