In 1936, the first MG \u201cT\u2002type\u201d was\u2002produced in England. It\u2002started with the MG-TA, and then\u2002progressed through the TB, TC, TD, and\u2002ended in 1955 with the TF, thus making the T-series the most distinctive line of MGs, which are recognized world wide today. Much of that production was exported\u2002to North America, and many of those T\u2019s were raced in their day\u2014and a number of them are raced in vintage racing today! Over the years many sports car racers\u2014like Carroll Shelby, and John Fitch\u2014began racing in\u2002MG-T\u2019s. In their honor, the Vintage Sports Car Club of America will celebrate the T\u2019s racing heritage at their \u201cFall Finale\u201d races, this October 6\u20137 at Lime Rock Park, CT. All MG racers\u2002are being extended an\u2002invitation to participate in special \u201cAll MG Races.\u201d However, they must be members of a recognized vintage racing organization to compete. All MGs up to 1980 are eligible, if prepared to the car\u2019s home club rules, but must be muffled.<\/p>\n
