The opportunity arose and 2006 was the year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Goodwood is an amazing place. I can\u2019t think of anywhere else quite like it. It\u2019s an estate that covers almost 12,000 acres near the town of Chichester, which is between Brighton and Portsmouth, about three hours from London by car. We think of Goodwood as devoted to auto racing, but it\u2019s far more than that. There are a wide variety of functions and activities all during the year. The largest is horse racing, which goes on for 20 consecutive days.
