In 1963 the Ford Galaxies appeared in British Saloon car racing. One of the best was the Willment car driven by Jack Sears, here at Druids. Jack had some real competition on this weekend when Alan Brown put World Champion Jim Clark in his similar car. The two Galaxies had a real race until Sears had to retire due to a flat, leaving the win to Clark.
