Realizing that two of its most used tracks, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Infineon Raceway (n\u00e9e Sears Point), were becoming very popular\u2014too popular\u2014the region wanted to insure the club always had a place for its members to race. Thus Thunderhill was born.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With its long layout (3.0 miles, 15 turns), high-speed corners and a setting in picturesque rolling hills, Thunderhill offers up the feel of a classic European road racing circuit. The track is in the small town of Willows, about an hour north of Sacramento, Calif. Since the track\u2019s completion in 1994 it, as well as the town, have matured. (Willows has a Wal-Mart now!)
