New Zealand is to have a new motorsport complex comprising\u2002three sealed circuits,\u2002purpose-built garages, industrial units and trackside apartments to service the needs of modern-day motorsport. Construction started in February 2007 and the track should be completed within two years.<\/p>\n

The circuit, which will be called Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, is located near the current Meremere drag strip and oval, in the North Waikato, just South of Auckland.<\/p>\n
