Consequently, 2007 will see several events honoring the Elite around the world\u2014and as you would expect, in the UK they will do it in grand style, with the big Silverstone historic race meeting, July 27\u201329, featuring the Elite and including a 50-car parade. In the USA, the Lotus Owners Group (LOG 27) will pay tribute when the faithful gather in Aspen, Colorado, August 24\u201327, for the club\u2019s annual meeting (www.log27.com).<\/p>\n
In Australia, the Leadfoots group will have a \u201cGathering of Elites\u201d in Goulburn on October 9\u201310. This will involve a special dinner on the Tuesday evening before the following day\u2019s track events at Wakefield Park. This coincides with the Gear Meeting on the 10th of October, which will feature the Elite at the event.
