The Revuelto<\/a> is the the successor to the famous Aventador<\/a>, a car that has been the V12 flagship from Sant\u2019Agata since 2011. This is the first plug-in hybrid from Lamborghini and it boasts a redesigned 6.5-Liter V12 engine assisted by three electric motors (one at the rear and two at the front) which brings bring the all-wheel-drive Revuelto\u2019s total power output to 1,001 hp.<\/p>\n

This powerhouse translates to a blistering 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in 7 seconds, a top speed exceeding 218 mph, and a hefty $604,000 price tag before options\u2014truly hypercar numbers for a high-end supercar.<\/p>\n

Another significant upgrade is the gearbox, replacing the outdated ISR single-clutch system with an 8-speed twin-clutch gearbox for a smoother ride. The battery, chargeable in 30 minutes via a 7 kW plug or in 6 minutes through regen, is positioned along the car’s spine, allowing for more cabin space. Handling improvements over the Aventador include enhanced control and capability. Electric power on the front axle eliminates understeer, while the V12 dominates on straights.<\/p>\n
