At the 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed last July, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/rimac-nevera-continues-to-set-records-this-time-at-goodwood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nevera became the fastest production EV ever to go up the Goodwood Hill<\/a>. It then continued its streak of by setting a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/rimac-nevera-sets-a-new-ev-nurburgring-record\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">N\u00fcrburgring record for electric vehicles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, this all-electric hypercar from Croatia is making headlines again by setting a new Guinness World Record as the fastest car to go in reverse. According to\u00a0Guinness, the previous record was set in 2001 by Darren Manning driving a Caterham 7 Fireblade in reverse and reached a top speed of 102.58 mph.<\/p>\n<p>With the full support of Guinness World Record measurement equipment and personnel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@RimacAutomobiliOfficial\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rimac<\/a>&#8216;s driver, Goran Drndak, took the wheel and pushed the accelerator in reverse.
