It features a 4.7-liter, naturally aspirated V8 producing 310 HP and 331 lb-ft of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission, and the entire car weighs 2,711 lbs. Initially priced at $18,000, the GT40&#8217;s value has soared, with prospective buyers now expected to pay over $2.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/2003%e2%86%922006-ford-gt-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2006 Ford GT<\/a>, it boasts a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine generating 560 HP and 501 lb-ft of torque. Similar to the GT40, it&#8217;s rear-wheel drive, but it comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and weighs 3,351 lbs. The GT&#8217;s initial cost was around $140,000, but in the used market, it easily exceeds $600,000.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/for-sale-fords-vp-of-design-is-selling-his-2017-ford-gt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2017 Ford GT<\/a> is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, delivering 650 HP and 550 lb-ft of torque. Driving the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it weighs 3,273 lbs, lighter than the second-generation GT.
