Spyker introduced the Spyker C8 Laviolette at the 2001 Amsterdam International Motor Show as the closed Coupe counterpart to the C8 Spider, honoring the Belgian engineer Joseph Valentin Laviolette, known for his contributions to Spyker racing cars in the early 1900s.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One of Spyker’s most striking bespoke creations was the C8 Laviolette LM85, denoted by “LM” for Le Mans and “85” for the racing number. Limited to 24 units, mirroring the duration of the Le Mans endurance race, only 14 were eventually manufactured.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Each featured aBurnt Almond Orange racing livery with a Gun Metal “S” logo, complemented by a cabin adorned in black leather and Alcantara. Additional details included LM85-specific exhaust tips, a fixed rear spoiler, and black AP Racing brake calipers concealed behind 19-inch black Aeroblade wheels.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Power for the C8 Laviolette is provided by a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre Audi petrol engine. This highly responsive 90-degree V8 power unit generates 400 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and an immense wave of torque with 480 Nm at just 3,500 rpm. With excellent power-to-weight ratio, the C8 Laviolette can accelerate from 0-to-60 mph kph in just 4.5 seconds and go on to reach a top speed of 186 mph.\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n
