So what would you do if you got a call from Automobili Lamborghini SpA press asking if you would like to drive the new Huracan Sterrato on the ice? I would probably jump on the first flight I could find heading to wherever they wanted me to come and experience just that. And that is exactly what Emelia Hartford<\/a> did, Lamborghini put together their latest ‘Esperienza Neve’, this time on a frozen lake near Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n

And what better car to go ice drifting than a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, the 610 hp off-road version of the famous Huracan? The Sterrato is like the love child between the Huracan and the Urus, taking the base of the Lamborghini Huracan with that glorious-sounding 5.2-liter NA V10 engine putting down 560 Nm of torque in a car with a power-to-weight ratio of just 2.22 kg\/hp, delivering some amazing figures, like a 3.4 second time to reach 100 km\/h from a standstill and reaching a top speed of 260 km\/h or 161.5 mph … on 19-inch Bridgestone Dueler tires that is.<\/p>\n

While at first sight, you might think ‘What was Lamborghini thinking ?’, at second glance you actually get it, the Lamborghini Huracan is an amazing car on its own, a low-slung supercar with amazing performance and looks, but perhaps not too practical on less than perfect, wide roads, but then you get similar looks in a car that is raised to have a decent amount of ground clearance, fitted with beefier tires that don’t have the risk of running a puncture on every piece of gravel on the road … which is exactly what the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is, a two-seater off-road supercar, complete with roof rack that can hold a spare tire if needed, a full-size spare that is.<\/p>\n

Naturally, the Esperienza Neve also offers the opportunity to Lamborghini clients to experience the other models in the current 2024 lineup from Sant’Agata, the Huracan Tecnica, and the Urus Performante, although we have to admit we would have loved to see the new Revuelto on the ice too, and truth be told, you can’t order any of the Huracan models at this time anymore, the entire production has been sold out for a while now while we should be seeing the successor, a V8 hybrid evolution, being unveiled later this year, so for now, let’s take a look at Emelia doing donuts on the ice in the Huracan Sterrato:<\/p>\n
