These models are designed for the track, featuring a lighter chassis, enhanced electric motor, and improved aerodynamics, these performance variants elevate the Taycan&#8217;s capabilities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@TopGear\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Top Gear magazine<\/a> got an exclusive first look at the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package as it sets a new lap time record at the famous Laguna Seca raceway with a time of 1:27.87 minutes, making it the fastest car around the circuit.<\/p>\n<p>This is also the same model that lapped the N\u00fcrburgring Nordschleife in 7:07.55 minutes, beating the previous record for a Porsche electric vehicle, held by the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/porsche-taycan-reclaims-nurburgring-ev-record\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Taycan Turbo S<\/a>\u00a0in 2022, by a remarkable 26 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>The Taycan Turbo GT is the fastest accelerating and most powerful Porsche ever made.
