With the introduction of the MC20 GT2<\/a>, Maserati is embarking on a new journey, melding top-tier performance with accessibility for amateur racers. Derived primarily from the acclaimed MC20 supercar<\/a>, the GT2 variant boasts Maserati’s signature Nettuno V6 engine, delivering an impressive 621 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque.<\/p>\n

To distinguish itself from its road counterpart, the GT2 is outfitted with a six-speed sequential gearbox, complemented by paddle shifters and a motorsport-spec clutch, ensuring seamless gear changes on the track.<\/p>\n

Maserati’s commitment to racing excellence is further exemplified through the use of a limited-slip mechanical self-locking differential, purpose-built for racing applications. Additionally, the GT2 features forged 18-inch center-lock wheels and two-way adjustable dampers at both axles, enhancing stability and maneuverability on the circuit.<\/p>\n

Notably, the exhaust system on the GT2 has been reimagined, with the two exhaust tips positioned higher than on the MC20, reflecting its tailored design for competitive racing conditions.<\/p>\n
