In June of last year, Koenigsegg reclaimed the 0-400-0 km\/h world record from the electric Rimac Nevera with their Regera<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Regera set a new world record by completing the feat in just 28.81 seconds, an impressive achievement for a decade-old hypercar. But on June 27th, Koenigsegg broke their own record using the Jesko Absolut.<\/p>\n

The Jesko Absolut<\/a>, powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 1,600 horsepower on E85 fuel, features a special lightning-fast gearbox with seven clutches for smooth, rapid gear changes. With less drag due to the absence of a big wing, it\u2019s a straight-line speed demon with incredible acceleration.<\/p>\n

Driven by Markus Lundh, the Jesko Absolut went from 0-400-0 km\/h in less than 30 seconds, achieving an official time of 27.83 seconds over a distance of 2144 meters.
