Rumor has it Lamborghini will be unveiling the successor to their V10 Huracan model at the 2024 edition of Monterey Car Week in California, rumored to be called the Lamborghini Temerario, it will follow the path initiated by the V12 Revuelto and become the second PHEV model from Sant’Agata, unfortunately, the V10 will be retired and a twin-turbo V8 will be fitted, together with three electric motors for a combined power output of 900 hp for the initial model, most likely we’ll be seeing higher-power Performante models and topless Spyder versions in the years to come.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, there are still no official numbers or even a release date, but most automotive sources do mention an August release for this long-awaited entry-level Lamborghini sports car, we’ve heard from multiple sources you couldn’t order any Huracan model anymore for months now, with an order book filled well into 2025 already for the existing Huracan orders, it is very unlikely we’ll be seeing any customer cars of the new Temerario being delivered before the Summer of 2025, so that still leaves Lamborghini ample time to fully develop the potential of their new V8 hybrid model.<\/p>\n

This brings us to the recent capture of the Lamborghini Temerario test mule being driving on the open road, under the typical camouflage wrap to disturb autofocus on digital cameras, but judging from the footage we’re showing below from the NCars<\/a> YouTube channel, that didn’t work, and they got some amazing close up video and drive-by footage of this new Raging Bull, it does show an all-electric driving mode too, way too silent for a Lamborghini, but very practical if you have to leave the house in the early hours of the morning and don’t want to wake up the neighbors, but once you’re out on the open road the twin-turbo V8 will still make a lot of noise, rest assured.<\/p>\n
