With 1,914 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just 1.85 seconds, the Rimac Nevera<\/a> held the title of the fastest-accelerating production car in the world. However, the Croatian automaker has taken things up a notch with the introduction of an even more extreme version: the Nevera R<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Rimac’s press release, the Nevera R is engineered for the track. This model features the latest generation of Rimac’s All-Wheel Torque Vectoring system, new advanced braking technology, an upgraded performance-oriented battery system, and most notably, 2,107 horsepower\u2014nearly 200 more than the standard Nevera. It\u2019s more powerful, rarer, and above all, sharper. While Rimac markets the original Nevera as a hyper GT, the Nevera R is intended to be a true hyper sports car.<\/p>\n

The performance figures are staggering. Despite being optimized for cornering, the Nevera R is slightly faster in a straight line than the original Nevera, reportedly reaching 300 km\/h from a standstill in just 8.66 seconds, compared to the Nevera’s 9.22 seconds. The standard top speed is 350 km\/h, with the 412 km\/h top speed of the Nevera only being accessible on the R model under the manufacturer’s supervision.<\/p>\n
