To celebrate Porsche’s 70th anniversary in September 2018, the iconic 935<\/a> name was revived with a limited-edition track car. Based on the 991.2 911 GT2 RS Clubsport<\/a>, this new 935 was produced in only 77 units and was designed without road regulations in mind, allowing for an exceptional lightweight carbon fiber body inspired by the original 935.<\/p>\n

The car featured distinctive wide box flares, a flat-nose front, and an imposing rear diffuser and wing, echoing the legendary “Moby Dick” 935. The show model was finished in Agate Grey with Martini stripes and equipped with center-lock wheels and brake-cooling turbine discs.<\/p>\n

Underneath its carbon-fiber exterior, the 935 was powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, derived from the 991.2 platform. This engine, featuring variable turbine turbochargers, water-spray intake cooling, and direct injection, produced 700 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 553 ft\/lbs of torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm, ensuring a smooth and powerful performance.<\/p>\n
