The Ford GT Mk IV<\/a> is the ultimate and the most extreme track only Ford GT ever. It is hailed to be an extremely advanced supercar that delivers max performance through its unique body, powertrain, and suspension, with only 67 units made.<\/p>\n\n

As the final version of the second-generation Ford GT, the Mk IV draws inspiration from the 12 Mark IV \u201cJ-Car\u201d prototypes manufactured in 1966 and 1967. Notably, chassis J-5 was famously driven to victory by Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt at the 1967 24 Hours of Le Mans.<\/p>\n\n

Equipped with model-specific carbon-fiber longtail bodywork and aerodynamic enhancements, the GT Mk IV features an extended wheelbase compared to its standard counterpart. Developed in collaboration with Multimatic, this track-only special includes essential race-ready features such as a roll cage, fire suppression system, racing bucket seats with six-point harnesses, MoTeC data capture, and a cool-suit system.<\/p>\n\n

To surpass the performance of any\u00a0Ford GT<\/a> to date, the Ford GT Mk IV was given an enhanced 3.8-liter EcoBoost V6 engine, which delivers over 800 horsepower, aero-focused exterior design, racing transmission, and chassis with a longer wheelbase for improved on-track handling.<\/p>\n\n
