During the fifties, my partner, Dick Sherwin, and I published a short-lived magazine called the Sports Car Journal. To cover events, we took many photographs. I have ended up with an archive of hundreds of negatives and have used a number of the images in this column as well as the books I put together. Knowing this, various individuals sometimes contact me asking for photos of certain cars. Some are collectors researching the provenance of a car they have acquired. Others are period drivers, owners and their descendants, or just enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Although I have a modest archive, I\u2019m not in the business of selling photos, nor do I want to be. Writing this column and my books takes all my spare time and energy.
