As a result, we, as enthusiasts, have reaped the benefit of others\u2019 lifetime searches for chassis numbers, rare photos, and marque-specific ephemera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fortunately for Porsche lovers, Jerry Pantis is one of these hopelessly devoted enthusiasts. Pantis spent the better part of five years gathering a virtual mountain of photographs, histories, and data on Porsche\u2019s 904, 906, and 910 racecars in the U.S. The result is a remarkable 432-page(!) tome that must surely stand as the definitive history of these racecars in the U.S. This book is such a thorough examination of these seminal racecars that it examines each car from three separate directions: (1) from the perspective of the drivers and owners like Joe Buzzetta, Scooter Patrick, Davey Jordan, Vasek Polak, and Otto Zipper; (2) from the races, with a year-by-year analysis from 1964\u20131969; and (3) from a chassis-by-chassis history of each individual car.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to all this data, the book also includes nearly 1,000 rare black-and-white and color photographs, making this the ultimate resource for the Porsche 904\/906\/910 fanatic.
