Sports Car Digest loves any and all patina, as, in our opinion, there is nothing better than a car that has lived well and it has the age lines to prove it.<\/p>\n<p>This 1955 Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing certainly has patina, although it will be short-lived as its well on the road to a full restoration. From the Seller: &#8220;Two owners with only 44,395 original miles, original interior (with exception of the carpeting) &amp; books. <!--more-->This car was special ordered set of Rudge knock-off wheels! In its current condition is running &amp; driving with good brakes and transmission. The body has been completely stripped to steel and has been metal finished in steel &amp; aluminum along with the bumpers fitted to the body &amp; metal finished as well.
