The Aston Martin Owners Club has announced its competitions schedule for 2008 which includes five key race meetings and eight rounds of the club\u2019s popular Speed Series. At each race meeting the AMOC Championship is split into two races, one for Historic Astons up to 1960, another for Classic Astons post-1960. The Intermarque Championship, which is a team series for Ferrari, Jaguar, Sunbeam, Porsche, Austin Healey and Astons, will again feature at all race meetings throughout the season. The programs for each meeting are still to be confirmed but will include races for Ferraris, prewar sports cars, Austin Healeys, ’50s sports cars and Formula Juniors. New for 2008 will be a couple of invitation races for pre-1966 FIA spec sports and GT cars and, following the success of a couple of Super GT races last year, look out for these spectacular cars at AMOC events in 2008.<\/p>\n
