The first event will be held May 30\u2013June 1, 2008, at Infineon Raceway, in conjunction with the Wine Country Classic. The second race will be held July 17\u201320, 2008, at Road America during the Kohler International Challenge. The third event will be held September 4\u20137, 2008, at Watkins Glen, as part of SVRA\u2019s Zippo U.S. Vintage Grand Prix. The Association is also planning two additional race events at Thunderhill Raceway (May 16\u201318) and Lime Rock (Aug. 29\u2013Sept. 1).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to club director, Seb Coppola, the association is also in extensive discussions with F5000 driver groups in New Zealand and Europe. These groups may bring as many as 15 additional Formula 5000 cars.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Formula 5000 Drivers Association is a membership car club established to promote the registration, restoration, and use of historic Formula 5000 racecars. The association organizes vintage racing events and other activities for its members.
