A credit to his abilities, Mosier restorations have won &#8216;Most Elegant&#8217; and &#8216;Best of Show&#8217; awards at Pebble Beach, as well as major awards at the most prestigious concours events in the United States and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are delighted to have the expertise of Bob Mosier on the RM team,&#8221; said Rob Myers, founder and CEO of RM Auctions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Well known in car circles, Bob is a three-time Pebble Beach &#8216;Best of Show&#8217; winner and brings with him extensive experience in the classic car industry. His experience at the highest end of collectible automobiles make him a valuable asset to the company and further enhances our auction and restoration services,&#8221; added Myers.<\/p>\n<p>Like so many industry veterans, Mosier has been passionate about classic cars since childhood, and began restoring cars full-time with world champion racer Phil Hill when Phil retired from racing. He was the first employee of Hill &amp; Vaughn, which was one of America&#8217;s first restoration companies to focus on complete ground-up restorations.<\/p>\n<p>Mosier opened his own business in 1978 and soon won &#8216;Best of Class&#8217; at the Pebble Beach Concours d&#8217;Elegance with his first major project, a 1937 Packard 12. It did not take long for collectors to take note of Mosier&#8217;s exceptional talents and the rest, they say, is history.<\/p>\n<p>With an intimate knowledge of the collector car market, Mosier also has experience in the auction side of the industry and was instrumental in the historic sale of the Otis Chandler Collection in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Bob Mosier joins Ian Kelleher and Chris Kidd at RM&#8217;s West Coast division in California as a car specialist and is looking forward to servicing new and existing clients.
