This desirable classic exceeded all expectations by setting a world record price for a vintage car sold at auction in the amount of (US)$10,894,900, surpassing the previous record set at Sotheby\u2019s Monaco auction, in 1990, for a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO at (US)$10,756,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Among the attendees was one extremely well-known Ferrari enthusiast, British television and radio personality Chris Evans. Evans, accompanied by his wife, golf pro Natasha Shishmanian, attended the Gala reception on Saturday, May 17th where he fell for the charms of the black California Spyder.
