Lancia will be highlighted at the Concours along with Lamborghini and the centennial of General Motors.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Lancia history is quite remarkable,&#8221; says Sandra Kasky Button, Chairman of the Pebble Beach Concours.\u00a0&#8220;Lancia emerged as one of the most progressive, spirited car companies at the turn of the 20th century, producing their first car exactly 100 years ago. Their racing heritage includes wins in Formula One, rallying and sports cars.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to producing the first narrow-angle V-4 and V-6 production engines, Lancia is recognized for numerous additional engineering advances that outdistanced other pre-war auto manufacturers. Founded in Turin, Italy by Vincenzo Lancia, the first Lancia, a 12 hp Alpha, debuted in 1908, and an example will be brought to the Concours by Milano, Italy car collector Corrado Lopresto, a 2005 Pebble Beach winner.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/072108-2020-lanciafeatu2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-673851\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/072108-2020-lanciafeatu2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"633\" height=\"437\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/072108-2020-lanciafeatu2.jpg 633w, https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/072108-2020-lanciafeatu2-300x207.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/072108-2020-lanciafeatu2-100x69.jpg 100w, https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/07\/072108-2020-lanciafeatu2-293x202.jpg 293w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 633px) 100vw, 633px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #4f81bd; font-size: 9pt;\"><strong>The 1908 Alpha, one of only 108 produced, that will appear at the 2008 Pebble Beach Concours d&#8217;Elegance.
