{"id":490154,"date":"2008-08-01T03:04:33","date_gmt":"2008-08-01T10:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportscardigest.com\/\/?p=51916"},"modified":"2024-03-17T12:17:19","modified_gmt":"2024-03-17T12:17:19","slug":"50-years-knobbly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/50-years-knobbly\/","title":{"rendered":"50 Years of the &#8220;Knobbly&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This year seems to be littered with 50-year celebrations of various marques, teams, and occasions in motor racing.\u00a0 The 50th Anniversary of the Lister Jaguar \u201cKnobbly\u201d was the latest to be observed at a sun-soaked Snetterton circuit, attended by Brian Lister, former driver John Coundley, and a number of former mechanics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It was John Coundley\u2019s former wife Pat who first coined the name \u201cKnobbly,\u201d affectionately describing the shape of the car while polishing it.
