The 6th annual \"\"<\/a>Automobilia Monterey again showed why it is a “must-attend” Monterey Week event. In fact, for serious collectors of original, vintage automotive collectibles, it is the<\/em> event in the United States.<\/p>\n

Held August 12-13 at the Embassy Suites in Monterey, CA, the 2008 Automobilia Monterey featured more vendors (43) than ever, which is saying something for what was already the largest automobilia show in America.<\/p>\n

If you can imagine it, odds are you will find it at Automobilia Monterey, as long as it is original \u2013 no reproductions are sold. That is a strong and welcomed declaration in today’s imitation eBay market.<\/p>\n

Automobilia Monterey visitors enjoyed the relaxed indoor setting that allows them to find\u00a0original\u00a0vintage posters; photographs; rallye plates; badges & pins; hood ornaments; signs; original art; display items; scale models; literature & books; signed items; postcards; stamps; and unique apparel.<\/p>\n

This year’s Automobilia Monterey took another leap forward with more creative and dynamic displays, as hard walls between the aisles gave vendors the opportunity to display posters and signs that added to the look of the room. All of the changes were well-received by the recording breaking amount of guests and the vendors alike.<\/p>\n

Better still, as a result of the event’s continued success, the featured charity, Monterey Rape Crisis Center, saw a 51% increase in contributions.<\/p>\n

The 2009 Automobilia Monterey will be held August 11-12. If you’ve never attended, we strongly suggest you find out why it is a “must-attend” event.<\/p>\n
