\"\"<\/a>It has been said that the eyes are the windows unto our souls\u2014perhaps nowhere is this adage more appropriate than on the pages of Jesse Alexander\u2019s new collection of motor sport personality portraiture.<\/p>\n

For over five decades Alexander has reigned as one of the premier motor sport photographers on the world scene. A large part of his success has stemmed from his uncanny ability to capture images that are hauntingly intimate\u2014making the viewer feel that he or she is sharing a very personal moment with the subject(s) in question.<\/p>\n

In Portraits, Alexander has collected together some of his best photographs that capture the drivers, engineers, team owners, and mechanics in a way that reveals something intimate about who they were as human beings, as well as racing icons. Subjects in this beautifully produced collection include such legends as Jim Clark, Enzo Ferrari, Jack Brabham, Bruce McLaren, Roger Penske, Giacomo Agostini, Dan Gurney, and Stirling Moss, as well as less well-known figures such as mechanic Giulio Borsari and Alfa Romeo engineer Giovanni-Battista Guidotti.<\/p>\n

Like all of Alexander\u2019s previous works, each page is a unique treat onto itself.<\/p>\n
