Hermon apparently lost control of his Eastlake 11 exiting Turn 13 and struck a disabled car that had stopped off the racing surface. That car\u2019s driver was treated at the track and released.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Transported by ambulance to St. Nicholas Hospital in nearby Sheboygan, Hermon was pronounced dead on arrival, with Coroner David Leffin listing the cause of death as blunt force trauma to the neck and chest.
