No doubt by now you\u2019ve heard of the passing of Paul Newman. Newman\u2019s impact on the worlds of acting and philanthropy were nothing short of massive. This was underscored by the fact that the Los Angeles Times ran an obituary\/memorial that was perhaps the longest single article I\u2019ve ever seen in a newspaper. In all reality, it likely didn\u2019t do him justice.<\/p>\n

While the world has remembered him for his acting and philanthropy, most memorials have given his racing but a passing mention\u2014if at all. That\u2019s a shame as I learned, firsthand, that he was as passionate about his racing, as any other pursuit in his life. In fact, according to him, perhaps even more so.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
