\"\"<\/a>Andy Granatelli fielded cars at the Indianapolis 500 from 1946 until 1991, as a driver but more notably as a team owner, culminating with Mario Andretti driving victory at the 1969 Indy 500.<\/p>\n

Granatelli, inducted into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2001, now plans to open his own museum and he is looking for help in locating items from his many years in racing.<\/p>\n

From Andy Granatelli:<\/p>\n

“I am looking for the following items for my Hall of Fame Museum, which will open late this year in Auburn, Indiana.\u00a0”<\/p>\n

“I need information on anything speed equipment or cars built by Grancor Automotive Specialists (Granatelli Corportion) like Ford Flathead motors, heads, manifolds, etc.\u00a0 Also, looking for any racecars I owned or built, including Indy cars, street rods, Bonneville cars or a Fordillac.\u00a0I would like to have any information on the whereabouts of any of the above.”<\/p>\n

“I will consider a loan, a donation or I will purchase the items. No matter what, I would like to know what’s out there.”<\/p>\n
