\"\"<\/a>The Sunday in the Park car show was held September 6th, 2009 at Lime Rock Park.<\/p>\n

Local ordinance laws in Lakeville, Connecticut prevent racing at Lime Rock Park on Sunday, therefore Lime Rock fields a traditional car show each year on that day as part of the Vintage Festival. A record 722 cars entered this year’s event, with the diverse show field including everything from classic cars from the early 1900s to late models of every kind.<\/p>\n

The judges and the fans in attendance were both impressed with the quality of the entrants, culminating in the \u201cBest in Show\u201d winner, a 1934 Packard Dual-Cowl V12 Sport Phaeton owned by George Dragone. This California car was in its original multi-hued green livery, the beauty of which also inspired its being chosen the winner of the \u201cLadies Choice\u201d award.<\/p>\n
