The first all-historic motor racing meeting in Australia was held during January 1976\u2014mid-summer in this part of the world. I am fortunate to say that I was there, but the first Amaroo Historics was a bit like Woodstock, as there are many people who say they were there, but actually just wish they were.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The story surrounded an MG K3 that had been brought over from South Australia for the event, a distance of some 880 miles one way.
