The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America has announced its Class of 2011, which will be enshrined during ceremonies in Detroit this August. Alphabetically, this latest class includes: Donnie Allison, winner of 10 NASCAR Cup races and Indy\u2019s 1970 Rookie of the Year; Sid Collins, the original \u201cVoice of the Indy 500,\u201d who launched the race\u2019s global radio network; Roger McCluskey, multiple USAC champion and long-time official; Ed \u201cThe Ace\u201d McCullough, winner of multiple NHRA championships as both driver and crew chief; sports car ace Augie Pabst, who earned much of his fame in the iconic Scarab racecars; Bruce Penhall, multiple Speedway Motorcycle World Champion; and Ed Winfield, one of the greatest mechanical minds in racing history, who is known as the father of the racing camshaft industry. Their induction will take place over two days, August 23\u201324, with ceremonies at the Detroit Science Center and the Fillmore Detroit Theater.
