This Showcase will feature current and late model vehicles, as well as displays from aftermarket accessory and automotive product companies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/ROADn7-201204-p2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-719569 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/ROADn7-201204-p2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"702\" height=\"465\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/ROADn7-201204-p2.jpg 702w, https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/ROADn7-201204-p2-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/ROADn7-201204-p2-100x66.jpg 100w, https:\/\/www.supercars.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/ROADn7-201204-p2-293x194.jpg 293w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 702px) 100vw, 702px\" \/><\/a>&#8220;It&#8217;s a great thrill for everyone at IMS to welcome back an expanded Celebration of Automobiles,&#8221; said Jeff Belskus, the Speedway\u2019s president and chief executive officer. \u201cLast year&#8217;s inaugural event during the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500 was such a rousing success with car owners and enthusiasts that we wanted to grow this event into another wonderful annual tradition of the month of May at the Speedway.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Celebration of Automobiles will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Opening Day for the 96th Indianapolis 500. All activities are included in the public gate admission fee of $10, with children 12 and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A panel of judges, including classic and vintage car experts, past Indianapolis 500 winners and other auto racing legends, will evaluate each car. Awards in various categories will be presented at a gala dinner Saturday evening, open to participants and a select number of public enthusiasts. Legendary Indianapolis 500 team owner Roger Penske will serve as the honorary head judge and also be a special guest at the awards gala.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Winning cars and other vehicles of distinction will be displayed and given a special lap of honor around the IMS oval on the Sunday.
