March 29-31, 2012<\/p>\n

Mecum held its annual regional spring sale in Kansas City, Missouri and saw spirited bidding for Big-Block Chevrolets which accounted for no fewer than seven of the ten cars in the top ten sold with the top spot going to a 2012 Mercedes-Benz S600 at $133,000. Total gross sales for the three day event were more than $8.9 million and the sell-through was strong for a regional event at 68%. Muscle cars and American classics dominated the proceedings but there was enough variety present to satisfy enthusiasts from just about any ilk.<\/p>\n
