Montgomery, Texas<\/p>\n

Texans are rarely derided as timid but the organizers of the inaugural Concours d\u2019Elegance of Texas had the temerity to challenge the dominance of Keels & Wheels by holding their first event during the same weekend and nearby at the La Toretta Lake Resort & Spa. The weekend began with a scenic tour of the local sights followed by the 11th annual The Houston Classic Auction by Worldwide Auctioneers on Saturday. In all, the strong attendance through the turnstiles and on the greens argues against the thought that Houston isn\u2019t big enough for the both of them.<\/p>\n
