In celebration of the Queen\u2019s Diamond Jubilee and the coming London Olympics, Rodeo Drive became decidedly British on June 17, when the annual Rodeo Drive Concours d\u2019Elegance celebrated their \u201cTHE BRITISH ARE COMING!\u201d theme, with over 30,000 people in attendance.<\/p>\n

As the 2012 featured marque, Aston Martin was the centerpiece of the 200 block of Rodeo Drive with both new and classic cars. Among them was a GT4 factory racecar, in British Racing Green with yellow accent.\u00a0 In addition, a brand new V8 Vantage Coupe in Mako Blue was displayed inside the Lladr\u00f3 store on Rodeo Drive. Lladr\u00f3 also presented the Svend Ingerslev Award for \u2018Best of Show\u2019 to Aaron Weiss\u2019 1929 Auburn 8-90 Boattail Speedster (pictured below).\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The 300 block of Rodeo Drive also featured British classic and racing autos including Austin Healey, Bentley, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lotus, MG, McLaren and Rolls-Royce brand. Also, a special British motorcycle area honored Triumph, Vincent, BSA and Norton. Among these beautiful classics was His Majesty King George V of England\u2019s 1910 Daimler, (pictured above) which was the official limousine make for the royal family through the 1950\u2019s.<\/p>\n
