Twenty-two Allards from 1947 to 1959 were entered at Glenmoor. The later ones, like this 1959 Palm Beach Roadster, were unlike the cycle-fendered Allards with Chrysler or Cadillac engines that we know well. This one is not only a more “conventional” sports car but is powered by a 210-hp Jaguar C-Type engine. It was one of only seven built.<\/p>\n

Tuckers had their own class, and nine, including the movie car, were entered. Unfortunately, several were not able to attend, explaining the gaps in the row of cars.<\/p>\n

Hard to believe that this 1940 Packard One Sixty Darrin-bodied Convertible Victoria is used to haul a trailer full of lumber and other<\/p>\n

supplies, but it does have a trailer hitch, and Gene Tareshawty claims it is his daily driver.<\/p>\n
