I wasn\u2019t too certain if anyone would be interested in coming along to our very first event back in 1993. We expected around 2,500 people, and over 25,000 turned up! Today the Festival attracts over 185,000 enthusiastic and knowledgeable spectators, which I just could not have imagined way back in 1993. I think it is safe to say that the event now looks like it is here to stay!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Beyond the featured cars posting times up the hill, other attractions will include: the Michelin Supercar Paddock featuring a display of the world\u2019s most sought-after high-performance cars; improvements to the Top Paddock and Forest Rally Stage; the Goodwood Action Sports Arena for two-wheeled enthusiasts; the Cartier et Luxe concours d\u2019elegance; and an enlarged Aviation Exhibition. It is also hoped that the Bloodhound Land Speed Record car will be on display, just prior to its scheduled attempt to top 1000 mph in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Goodwood Festival of Speed Facebook page is inviting fans to submit their ideas about their favorite highlights from the past 20 years so that organizers can understand what the fans want to see and work to incorporate it into the event.
