The waterfront park situated on the Greenwich Harbor once again provided an excellent setting for the 18th annual event.<\/p>\n<p>Since its founding in 1996, the two-day Greenwich Concours is actually two Concours, back-to-back. Saturday\u2019s Concours Americana is exclusively for American makes, while Sunday\u2019s Concours International is for imported marques.Collectively more than 250 American and foreign cars were exhibited at this year&#8217;s Concours, including many of the pre-war brass-era, the grand classics of the late 1920s and \u201930s, and such marques as Aston Martin; Ferrari; Jaguar; Mercedes-Benz; Rolls-Royce; Porsche; Maserati; among others.<\/p>\n<p>Best in Show, International at the 2013 Greenwich Concours was awarded to the 1947 Ferrari 159S Spider Corsa, owned by James Glickenhaus. Chassis 002C is reportedly the oldest Ferrari car still in existence. The 1957 Maserati 300S of Herb Wolfe won People&#8217;s Choice, International. Best of Show, American went to the 1914 Locomobile Model 48 Touring of Nyle Blanck, while Craig Kappel&#8217;s 1934 Packard 1106 Boattail Speedster won People&#8217;s Choice, American.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Photographer Michael DiPleco documented the 2013 Greenwich Concours d&#8217;Elegance, offering up an excellent selection of images from the car show in Connecticut.
