I had a long think about this and decided to stick to Formula One. I didn\u2019t fancy the idea of being in one place for a long time like I would be if I was to go to Indy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The decision was made to split our F1 team into two squads to cover the competitions. David Lazenby would run the Indianapolis team and Dick Scammell would run the Formula One team. In fact, they would both be Chief Mechanics. Jim Endruweit was handed the baton to be in overall charge of both teams.
