The car in question won the 19th Safari Rally in 1971, driven by Edgar Hermann and Hans Sch\u00fcller, while a similar Z driven by Shekhar Mehta and Lofty Drews took top honors two years later. The Safari Rally Z is part of Nissan\u2019s Heritage Collection, and the restoration club is a group of volunteers from the company\u2019s R&amp;D department who desire to see Nissan\u2019s historic racecars fully operational again.
