Lime Rock Park\u2019s September 1st \u201cSunday in the Park\u201d Concours awarded Best of Show honors from a field of 248 entrants in 29 classes to the first Ferrari to reach American shores. The 1948 Ferrari 166 Spider Corsa, presented by Miles Collier of the Revs Institute, crossed the podium driven by noted restorer Paul Russell and was handed the Best of Show trophy and a Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Constant Gen\u00e8ve Healey watch. Other notable winners included a spectacular 1930 Aston Martin International in the class \u201cRisky But Racy \u2013 competition machines of merit pre-1945;\u201d a rare and valuable 1967 Shelby-prepped Toyota 2000 GT (Bob Tkacik, Saco, Maine) from the \u201cSpeed & Style \u2013 GT Cars 1965-1970\u201d category; and a 1964 Ferrari Lusso owned by Roger Werner of Greenwich, Connecticut, winning the “Businessmen\u2019s Express, GT cars 1960-1965\u201d class.<\/p>\n
A major highlight of this year\u2019s Sunday in the Park was the presence of nearly half of the street Cunninghams ever built (25). Eleven C3s (including two cabriolets), plus three racecars, were on the property. Cunningham’s daughter Lucie McKinney and Briggs III were present all weekend, as well.
