A dozen different vintage racing sanctioning bodies were represented among the 530 accepted entrants, with 36 drivers from a dozen different sprint races and a pair of enduros prevailing to take home one of the specially designed gold and black Bell helmets emblematic of their National Championship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAt the beginning of the 2013 season,\u201d commented SVRA President and CEO, Tony Parella, \u201cI stated that developing a simplified set of rules and enforcement procedures was the single most important aspect that needed to be developed in order to conduct a legitimate National Championship event. Roger Linton and the Technical Inspection staff are to be commended on making this goal a reality.
