Although Tommy\u2019s racing career was brief, he managed to cut a swath through tracks from Edenvale, Ontario, to the streets of Watkins Glen and Bridgehampton in New York. In the process he made friends with many drivers and competitors, from Jim Kimberly to Walt Hansgen. Perhaps Tommy\u2019s most famous race took place through the streets of Watkins Glen in 1952 when, driving his four-year-old MGTC, he finished 4th to the brand-new Oscas of Jim Kimberly and Bill Spear and the purpose-built Simca special of Roger Barlow.
